TAKE CHARGE NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!!

On behalf of the Take Charge Program and the legacy of Shaar R. Mustaf, we are asking friends of Take Charge to financially support our mission to continue providing unimterrupted empowering youth development service to families in need. Since it's founding in 1990, Take Charge has been an exemplary youth enrichment and diversion organization headquartered in Prince George's County, Maryland. Maryland Department of Juvenile Services and Prince George's County Public School audit data verified Take Charge Program's graduates achieve a 90% non-recidivism rate for all programs as well as significant academic improvement.

After 32 years of primarily serving families in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia), Take Charge has relocated it's headquarters to North Carolina, the home state of our founder, Shaar R. Mustaf.  As we continue to integrate our programs with agencies and organizations in North Carolina, we are asking for your finanancial consideration as we fully develop our programming and services for FY2023.  So far in 2023, we are committed to the Shaar R. Mustaf Memorial Scholarship, one "Free" Take Charge Basketball & Life Skills Camp in North Carolina, multiple Take Charge Basketball & Life Skills Clinics in North Carolina and one (1) Leadership and Development Program in Prince George's County Public Schools. Collectively, we thank you in advance for any donation that will help us transition from the DMV region to North Carolina.  Please complete the form below for your donation.
